TG PCB By Tg Range

Normal TG PCB

This type of PCB from PCBTok ensures that the PCB can survive in moderate-use environments. It will fail in high temperatures.

Medium TG PCB

The medium range type is measured at 150 degrees Celsius. This PCB is sometimes required by customers, it’s reasonably priced.

High TG PCB

We’ve had customers request this type of PCB for aerospace and military applications. Can also be used as a telecommunications device.

TG 130 PCB

In the normal range of PCB types, the PCB of FR4 material has a transition glass temperature of 130 degrees Celsius.

TG 150 PCB

Degree 150 Celsius is the midpoint of thermal resistance measurement. Includes these materials: IT158, S1000H, and TU-662.

TG 170 PCB

High Tg boards are classified as TG 170 or 180 Celsius. This includes the following items: Megtron 4, MEGTRON 6, MEGTRON 7, etc.

TG PCB By Material (6)

TG PCB By Feature (5)

  • Rigid PCB

Our Rigid PCBs with the proper Tg are subjected to proper PCB routing, layering, and stack-up. We also make Double-layer and Single-layer PCBs.

  • Multilayer PCB

Our Multilayer PCB is commonly used in wireless devices. Analog device PCBs are also manufactured, and some have mixed interface usage.

  • Flexible PCB

Flex PCBs make use of a material known as Polyimide. It can be used for multilayer Flex PCBs and is also known as or polyester adhesive.

  • Rigid-Flex PCB

A Rigid-Flex PCB’s Rigid and Flex components can be made separately, some materials are suitable to use, but make sure they have the matching Tg grade.

  • HDI PCB

The HDI PCB is almost certainly a High Tg type of board. You can site power supply, satellite, and radar usages for HDI applications. These are just some examples.

Operational Possibilities Abound

PCBTok’s PCBs are all designed to give you added strength and quality, whatever temperature tolerance it needs to endure.

Aside from making the actual circuit boards themselves, we also provide PCBA service.

When we do PCBA, the parts-to-board adhering process is done properly to ensure the highest level of performance.

When you mount IC Substrate, ICs, Multichips, DiP, Dpak, and others, we follow the requirements as a standard practice.

Professional Assessment Boards' TG Needs

Professional Assessment Boards' TG Needs 2
Professional Assessment Boards' TG Needs

All types of PCBs go through a somewhat similar manufacturing process.

The PCBs categorized according to Tg range are no exception.

PCBTok, uses the most advanced and up-to-date production method to create premium and superb PCBs for you.

Just send in a Gerber file, and if you don’t already know the specific Tg you need, we can help.

PCB design/development, and final production are the basic steps we do to produce your PCB.

So, you see, now is the time to get your order going.

TG PCB Fabrication

What You Need in Terms of Tg

In PCB, we understand what TG means. Our company manufactures parts that are superior in terms of Tg grading.

TG or Tg is in this temperature range that the PCB, fiberglass, or other material will become unstructured.

Before you send your PCB to production, you must first determine the TG of the PCB substrate.

Knowing this ensures that you use the proper material, because if your PCB will be exposed to high temperatures, you will need a higher Tg board.

Considerations for Usage of Tg Grad

A miscalculation in Tg will cost you the functionality of your PCB if you do not use the appropriate Tg grade for the PCB material.

The PCB can stand for a short time at the specified temperature (e.g., 130 degrees Celsius) before becoming rubbery.

You don’t want your PCB to be at this temperature for an extended period of time as a precautionary step.

So, if your PCB must be constantly operational, you must compensate with the corresponding Tg grade.

OEM & ODM TG PCB Applications

Medical Equipment

The application of any Tg-specific PCB on medical devices will be determined by the type of device it will be designated in; some are ultra-small, even miniscule in size.

Industrial Application

Any PCB used in commercial and/or industrial applications must first consider whether it will be used continuously and in what capacity.

Consumer Electronics

Consumer electronics is a popular application for PCBs; any Tg-range is applicable here, as there is a wide variety of consumer gadgets.

Audio Visual Equipment & Cameras

Cameras and audiovisual equipment are examples of consumer product applications. Almost all of them, such as Camera PCB and DVR PCB, are available in a dedicated line for entertainment use.

Automotive Usage

Automotive usage of any Tg-specific PCB will depend on what part of the car it will be designated in.
